A black NBR rubber seal with a hollow P-profile. The rounded bulb head has a hollow core, so it compresses under pressure and returns to shape when released, giving a tight seal against the mating surface. The stem has multiple barbed fins that push into grooves in aluminum, steel or plastic frames. It locks in firmly without glue.
Made from NBR (nitrile rubber), it resists oil, grease, fuel and hydraulic fluid, which suits industrial and machinery applications. Working temperature: -35 to +120°C.

The P-shaped profile measures 14 mm wide x 16.5 mm high overall and has two parts.
Hollow Bulb: the sealing part
The rounded head has an air core, so it compresses easily with little closing force. Doors and covers shut tightly without extra effort. Under compression, the bulb spreads against the mating surface and fills small gaps caused by uneven surfaces or tolerances. It recovers its shape when opened, so it holds up to frequent opening and closing. The hollow core absorbs impact and reduces noise when parts close together.
Barbed Stem: the retaining part
Multiple fins angle in one direction, so the stem pushes into the groove easily but resists pulling out. The fins press against both groove walls, holding the seal without glue or screws. The fins also stop water and dust from getting through the mounting groove. To replace it, pull out the old seal and push in a new length. There's no glue residue to clean.
