General information
Multi-purpose hose consisted of 3 layers, including tube, reinforced and cover layers. The tube and cover can be made of smooth oil resistant rubber and thermoplastic rubber, for example, vinyl, EPDM and TPR (NBR/PVC). Hybrid thermoplastic rubber hose has properties like those of rubber tube, and weight and price close to those of PVC tube. 1 or 2 ply of polyester thread braiding is used for reinforcement of the tube offering robust, solid structure, kink resistance and pressure resistance features. Choosing materials for the tube is very important and there are many factors that have to be considered, such as chemicals, working temperature and weight. These factors will affect the efficiency and physical properties of the tube. Choosing wrong materials might cause leaking, deteriorating and unwanted physical changes problems.
