General information
Rubber tank cleaning hose consists of 3 main parts, including the inner, reinforced and cover layers. The inner part is made of black smooth EPDM rubber, as well as the cover layer. EPDM rubber for the cover offers weather and ageing resistance to the hose. The middle layer is where the reinforcement lies. Apart from multiple plies of high strength synthetic fiber in the middle, there are two stainless stranded static wires trailing of each end to prevent electrostatic. The hose is usually connected to the water or cleaning solution source like pump or hydrant and works as a discharge hose to convey the liquid to a portable tank cleaning machine. Moreover, it has another role of suspending the portable tank cleaning machine within the tank.
