Tuberry® Food-Grade Silicone Tubing

Tuberry® food-grade silicone tubing, model TUFTQSR6013x19.5, has an inner diameter of 13 mm and an outer diameter of 19.5 mm. Manufactured in Thailand, it is suitable for transferring food, beverages, hot water, cold water, and compatible general-purpose liquids where cleanliness, flexibility, and visible flow inspection are required.
The tubing is manufactured from food-grade silicone rubber. The finished tubing has been laboratory tested in accordance with the requirements of FDA 21 CFR 177.2600, based on the available test documentation. Its clear or Transparent appearance allows users to monitor liquid flow, residue, and the internal condition of the tube.
With a hardness of 60 ± 5 Shore A, the tubing offers good flexibility while maintaining its shape. It can be bent and installed onto suitable machinery, hose barbs, and fittings with ease.
The silicone material has a specified temperature range of -70°C to +220°C. This range represents the material specification and does not guarantee continuous operation at maximum pressure throughout the entire temperature range.
Model TUFTQSR6013x19.5 is a homogeneous, non-braided silicone tube without reinforcement. It is intended primarily for low-pressure applications. The general working pressure guideline is approximately 1–3 bar, depending on fluid type, operating temperature, pressure surge, fittings, clamps, bending radius, and installation method.
Important: The stated 1–3 bar pressure range is provided only as a preliminary selection guideline. It is not a guaranteed pressure rating of 3 bar under all temperatures or operating conditions.

Special attention is required for liquids containing oils, solvents, concentrated acids, or alkalis. High-pressure circuits in coffee machines and beverage equipment must also be evaluated before installation.
Applications Not Recommended
Because this tubing is not reinforced with braided fiber, it is not recommended for:
Operating pressures above 3 bar
Systems with severe pressure surges or rapid pressure changes
High-pressure pumps
High-pressure steam systems
High-pressure compressed-air systems
Vacuum applications without collapse testing
Applications involving continuous pulling, abrasion, or mechanical stress
Applications where tube expansion must be tightly controlled
Systems requiring a certified working-pressure or burst-pressure rating
Applications requiring braided or reinforced tubing
For these applications, braided silicone hose or pressure-rated tubing specifically designed for the operating conditions should be selected.
